I have a custumer that the phones will end up saying "Checking Code".

The manual say:

None, this message should only last for approximately one second. If message remains displayed, power off and contact customer support for a replacement phone.

We replaced some and now others end up like this.
There is no tftp-server running on side can that be a problems that it stays like this.
In the phone tftp is set to 255.255.255.255

Please make sure that the AVPP and wireless phones are in the same subnet. If yes, you would try to update the firmware before replacement.

hi Big,

You must use an tftp server with the firmware of the 3616 phones on it. Every time when a 3616 phone starts up he will check the firmware version on the tftp server. when he can't find the tftp server (or better say the firmware on it) you get the error message:"Checking Code".

He Robbie boy

I Will put in a tftp-server to see what happens, but its snot necessary to use one.
It should only try a few seconds and then go on.

Lets wait en see:)
