Replacing an SX200 and installed 3 Precidia IP adapters to integrate the new 3300. What are the pinouts for RS-232 adapters? The PMS is HI Opera, and has an "Octopus" with DB-25 female connections. I found the port info and have tested SMDR output at least, and it works to my laptop. PMS company says nothing is coming to them.

Original cable from SX-200 was terminated with an 8 pin connector. (Picked up on this install after the fact). I need to put a male db-9 (RJ45 to DB9) for the Precidia, and RJ-45 to DB-25 male at the other end for the OPERA system server.

it will be a straight thru cable. I would buy an adaptor but if you must make one:

Thanks for the prompt response. I appreciate it. Wasn't sure if it needed any conversion- I will test next week when we return to "tweak" the install. I will post if we need to go through the PMS options screen.
