I have in the past posted a number of requests for help with my Vista Ultimate 32 bit version locking up and the cpu running at 100 percent for no reason that was visible. I tested and checked using the advise of a lot of great people out here but still could not find the reason. I have reloaded on a spare hard disk with no extra software and installed all the updates and still had the issue so I installed the 64 bit version and all the updates and have been running it for about a week and it is solid as a rock. has anyone else experienced this problem using the Utlimate version on a Asrock 4coresata mb? I am interested in knowing if its a mb issue.

Yes, I had no amount of issues with Vista 32 Ultimate but I was using 4gb of ram on it, as soon as I went to 64bit I had no issues at all.

I have been 64bit now for 2 years (I got Vista just before launch thanks to a Technet subscription I took out).

The real world is not about exam scores, it's about ability.
