I have a 3 line system and when users go to make an outbound call line 3 is always the default line that is used. Is there any way to change this order of lines so that users can pick up the phone and use line 1 first, line 2 second, line 3 third?

Thanks!

Not in programming. when I had a customer where I had to make their third CO Line get selected last I changed the Line that it was punched down on to line 1 then made line 2 the second CO and line 3 the first CO. Changed the names inapproprately to reflect the same and swapped the appearance on the phones using feature *81. this was for a fax line that they still wanted to have automatically get selected for outgoing calls.

Jerry is spot on, but you can a have your DN primed to a certain #. But, it won't be a pool, it will be one line. For instance you could set 1 DN to p/u Line 1 and another to p/u Line 2. If that line is busy, just direct select another.

Yes, jerry's way is the only way if you want to use your main line as the first to call out. Pools will always grab the last one first.

Man, I'm good for cheap advice. I stand on the shoulders of giants. :)
