I have a wireless card that im trying to get drivers installed for on WInXP. The OS will detect the card and even tell me the right name for the card but after I load the drivers for it (updated ones from 3Com's site) It tells me there was a problem with the device and it 'Cannot Start this device'

I know that the drivers for this product are in beta for XP right now but I have another XP machine on my network that the drivers work fine for. Any suggestions ?? Jeremy Leasure

My suggestions are just that, suggestions.

There are updated drivers on the 3com website for some wireless products

I have a similar problem:

OS: winxp
Card: 3com 737

when I insert the card, OS detects it and installs the drivers. I go in there and update the drivers downloaded from 3com for XP. The nework icon in the task bar lights up and states: wireless network detected. when i go in i see my AP and that of my neighbour.
I go in, configure my WEP and SSID. Things work fro about 1 min or 2 and then it is as if the AP has been unplugged. The icon in the task bar now has an X on it and states no wireless networks detected. The interesting thing is that I switched to my cisco 350 card and the same exact senario! I know the AP (even my neighbours) is still active b/c I run netstumbler on a laptop side by side and I have great signal.
Any thoughts? Thank you for your time.
