I have a customer with multiple locations connected via MPLS network. I can load the Phone manager and it works on the customer PC but I cannot get the TAPI to find the IP Office. When I load the User cd it fails to find the Ip office yet I can ping it and connect to it VIA manager. Just wondering if anyone has seen this before because I need to get TAPI working on about 30 PC's and none of them can find the Ip office.

Sounds like a firewall problem.

Try disabling Windows Firewall if XP or any other firewall product.

There is a AvayaFW.bat that modifies the windows firewall

It's attached to a pdf regarding xp sp2. Its in the engineer's toolkit. Do a search.

Thanks JeSTeROCK,

seems like that is the issue here, tried pinging across all networks and devices and everything is okay. I will try the firewall approach tonight and see what happens.
