Hi guys,

having a bit of a problem, first, the basic question:
when assigning text to a path (ie: spiral etc), it goes in one direction, how do i inverse the path so the text spirals in the opposite direction? i've read somewhere you just click the path end, but doesn't seem to happen... please can someone explain this for me!

ok, more complex issue:
i have an ai and a few eps files that i wanted to burn to cd, there was some kind of error, and basically now the files (that are 'on' my cd drive), won't delete! they come up with an error message:
"cannot delete file ... in use by another program" yet, i have restarted my computer several times since then, [and days ago] and it doesn't seem to do anything....... really strange! they're still there!

there are also two more eps's on my desktop that won't be deleted either..

anyway, i'm not sure whats going on [even when no programs are open they still won't delete] but if anyone could help it would be really great!

Having battled a similar problem last night, I found that if I dragged the I-bar over the path, I could get the text to go on the inside. This might work for you.

Can't help with the second problem - sorry.

Test on path: go to Type menu/Type on path/options or double click type on path tool. Select Align Assender to align inside path (if on top), Desender for outside, center fo on pathe. Move away from path by using Baeline Shift in Charater window. You can then also use this as an alignment.

To flip click flip box.
