2nd BM12 not working on 9508

First module works perfectly, 2nd module lights up but nothing showing on the buttons despite having buttons programmed on 49-60. Any suggestions?

I've rebooted the ipo 3 times and power cycled the phone multiple times.

sounds like you had the 2nd module incorrectly connected the 1st time

no, cause the funny thing when i plugged them in, the 2nd one didn't come up, so I realized i had it plugged into the wrong port. If it's plugged in incorrectly, it doesn't come up at all.
