2k Forgotten Password 1

Is there any way to get around the first blue screen of windows 2k if you have forgotten your password? I've heard that there is, but i don't know what to do. Should i jsut reinstall windows, or should i format?? Please let me know if you have any advice.

There may be some kind of cracker way to break in, but it would probably be easier to reinstall Windows. If you have made an ERD you could try a repair. If you choose to reinstall, you will need to reinstall all of your apps after you get Windows up, but at least you can get to any data that you may have had. I know you're gonna write down your password next time. Stick it under your keyboard, no-one ever thinks to look there. Michael
