Greetings all,
I do not have much experience with CISCO switches, so please excuse any fumbling during this post.
I have 5 2950c switches, 4 that will be spread around a large facility. There are fiber runs from the equipment closet to the different areas of the facility.
I am trying to connect 2 of my 2950c for testing purposes. One in the equipment closet and the other in one of the 4 areas in the facility.
I have MT-RJ to SC multi mode patch cables. When I connect the two units to the fiber, I am not getting any link light on the FX (fiber) port. Do I need a crossover cable for this configuration or do I need to configure the FX port for uplink on one of the devices?
I hope this make sense and thanks in advance for any suggestions.
