I wanted to connect the 2600 / ethernet1/0 port (10 Mb/s) with a ethernet-port from alcatel/omnipcx 4400.
All looks good (eth1/0 up,line up, LEDs on) but a test ping has only worked sometimes ("timeout" most of the time). IP-addresses on both systems were correct.
After this I tried the connection with the fastethernet port on the 2600 and the ping worked.
The 2600 fasteth0/1 interface showed the connection with 10 Mb/s halfduplex.
After this I configured the eth1/0 port on the 2600 to halfduplex (speed can only be 10 Mb/s), but without success. The test ping didnt work correct.
Does anybody know something about this problems?
