Ok let me start with I know less than nothing about cisco routers!
And I’m trying to learn…

I got my hands on a 2620 and a WIC-1ENET card

The card requires:
Code:
WIC-1ENET Software Requirements
The WIC-1ENET card requires Cisco IOS Release 12.2(2)XJ or later if the card is installed in any WIC slot other than slot 0 or if more than one card is installed.
The card can be used with Cisco IOS Release 12.2(4)T, but the card must be installed in slot 0 and only one WIC-1ENET card can be installed in the router.

So I upgraded the router to Version 12.3(13a)
I also have only one card in WIC0

When I boot the router I get one quick blink on the link light of the WIC-1ENET card
And the following message:

Code:
Smart Init is enabled
smart init is sizing iomem
  ID MEMORY_REQ TYPE
000094 0X000B3B80 C2600 Single Fast Ethernet
                0X00098670 public buffer pools
                0X00211000 public particle pools
TOTAL: 0X0035D1F0

If any of the above Memory Requirements are
"UNKNOWN", you may be using an unsupported
configuration or there is a software problem and
system operation may be compromised.
Rounded IOMEM up to: 4Mb.
Using 12 percent iomem. [4Mb/32Mb]

Excuse my lack of knowledge but this looks like it is low on system memory?!
What else am I missing?

I don’t get the second interface and I get no link lights on the card

I want to get this going with 2 interfaces so I can start moving traffic
I also don’t have anymore money to put into this
Help Pls TIA

I do not think that card is compatible with that router. Think you need a fast ethernet network module for it.

WIC-1ENET is designed only for 1700 series routers, and is not compatible with any other router. for your 2600, you'll need either a nm-4e, or nm-1fe-tx (not sure if nm-1fe-tx is supported, check Cisco's site.)
