2600 with 2500 IOS

Does anyone know if I can use a 2500 IOS on a 2600 router. I know there are many differences in each router but I was just curious.

Can't be done. The hardware is entirely different & the code is incompatible.

i agree.. more to that, unlike newer Cisco routers, the 2500 doesn't run it's IOS in memory.. IIRC..
