2600 Router Drops, encap failed

Hello,

I am having trouble with a 2600 and have been looking for information on a possible problem. I have run "show Ip Traffic" and under IP Stats>Drop I have 140013 encapsulation failed?

Can anyone guide to some info, nothing noted in my books and can't find a solid answer on the net.

Is this counter increasing from time to time?
Are you running some tunneling protocols like GRE or even with IPSec?
