2514 for T1

hi guys! I have a query here. Is the 2514 serial interface capable of handling T1 connection speed. I am planning to replace our 2600 router with my 2514 router as a failover device, just in case the 2600 device goes down.

Yes, the Serial ports on a 2500 series router handle full T1 speeds. The only disadvantage is that you would need an external CSU/DSU.... unless the 2600 is already running off of an external CSU/DSU. Anyways, hope this helps.
