2501-2514-adsl router help please

I have a 2501 router connected over a microwave link via serial 0 to a 2514 serial 0. ether 0 on the 2514 is connected to a linksys adsl router.

2501 ether 0 is 192.168.10.253
2501 serial 0 is 192.168.12.253
2514 serial 0 is 192.168.12.254
2514 ether 0 is 192.168.1.254
2514 ether 1 is 192.168.14.254
Adsl router is 192.168.1.1

I can ping either serial port but not the ether ports.

I have no Idea how routing really works as I am a radio guy.

If somone could please send me in the right direction I would appreatiate it.

I have been having some trouble getting around the menu system in the console port. I can find most things I think but it takes me a long time. First time to do anything with cisco routers.

Ok I have an update.

I can now ping from the 2501 ether0 to the adsl router but not beyond it into the internet.

The problem seems to be the lack of a gateway. Where would I put in this???

I am using IOS 11.2

Should I update the IOS???
