2008 phone, adjust volume?

Hi All,
I have several 2008 phones very close to each other in a loud area. I'm told one rings louder than another. I thought to just replace the one that's softer, but wanted to inquire if I was missing another way to adjust the volume (similar to how you do it for a 2616 with the Program key).

The users have turned the ring volume up to the max, which they've done by calling themselves and turning the ring volume up to the max.

They are 2008 phones without display, and have no Program key to adjust volume levels.

Do ringers just tend to go over time? Should I just replace the phone?

Other than the volume control on the phone, I don't believe there is setting for changing the volume in software.

Around here, people are so persnickety about kind of stuff they tweak it all the time. Heck, our CCM VoIP stuff is nuts with the 30 different ringer options...

In CLS on each phone you can set different rings, DRG1 and 2 would be the loudest. You may want to verify that all phones are the same.

(DRG1) High fast tone, frequency 667 Hz/500 Hz, warble rate 10.4 Hz
DRG2 High slow tone, frequency 667 Hz/ 500 Hz, warble rate 2.6 Hz

DRG4 Low slow tone, frequency 333 Hz/ 250 Hz, warble rate 2.6 Hz

Ah cool, I'm a big fan of the "french police car ring". Nice to have those DRG specs...

both are set to DRG1 though...I'll replace the set and see if that helps.

wow, is a really loud area. Has anyone heard of a ring amplifier for a 2000 series phone? Is there such a thing?
