Since installing SP1 we have been having some random printer problems. First off is a HP laserjet 1200 that when printed to from any machine besides the print server it queues very slowly.
2nd issue is one of our HP laserjet 4200n's started printing small for one user (whole page in top corner of sheet) then after removing the printer from the user removing the drivers from the server and readding them and remapping it, it prints fine but if you go to properties pritning preferances you get an explorer.exe error Function address 0x77c43ec0 caused a protection fault. (exception code 0xc00000005) Some or all property page(s) may not be displayed. The small printing was just for 1 user the error now is random on machines that mapped to it while it was having the small printing problem. This is not user specific but machine specific. Has anyone had any similar issues or know what could be the cause?

I forgot to explain why I know it is not user specific. I can login to various computers with different accounts and the error only happens to certian computers even with the same account. Thanks for any help on this.

The laserjet 1200 was corrected by changing the driver to the updated pcl6 driver. for some reason the driver was set to pcl after the update.

The 4200n was corrected also by drivers I was finally able to get my fix to work after breaking it on the server. I went to windows update and there was a hardware update for the 4200n which i downloaded and installed just to make sure it was driver related. I then tried from the server which had been working fine to go to print prefs and it gave the error. The problem was when i was removing and readding drivers it was not getting everything. There was a folder named 3 under C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86 that I had to rename. and then I was able to add the drivers I downloaded from HP. that cleared up my error. I had to clear the 3 folder on the affected machines to get the error to clear.
