2003 Install No Tasks Available!!!!!

I have just installed Exchange 2003 on a W2K3 SP1 member server.
When adding new users the option to create a mailbox does not appear and the Exchange tabs are also not visible in ADUC.
Looking at install log and NT event logs there is nothing jumping out there.

What am I missing?

Sorted it was due to the fact that my Exch box was not communicating correctly with AD
