2000 Server to Prof Question

If I have a Windows 2000 Server, can I install only windows 2000 Pro Options on a pc?

Please elaborate. If you mean can you install Server on a pc then the answer is yes if the pc meets the minimum requirements:

133Mhz
128MB
1GB

If you mean you have a 2k server based domain and are asking if workstations have to be running 2k pro - then no, they can run any flavour of windows.

Actually, I got an answer but the question was.

With A Server disk, Can I install 2000 pro.

I thought Win 2000 server might have a option to only install 2000 proffecional.

But you can't. Which seems a little silly but I can understand why not.

There are install disks which will let you install any 2k - but normal 2k server is for 2k server (2k Pro is a different o/s).
