2000 server and xp pro

How do these two interact. are they the same as server with win2k. so if u had a choice would u go with 2000 pro machine or xp pro? is there any knows problems. Thanks, PAUL

Windows XP pro is almost like W2K pro, except for interface enhancements. I changed from Windows 2K pro to Windows XP pro, and I didn't see any problem.
 
I'm biased, but I'll stick with w2k pro. Seems to me the most stable platform MS ever came up with, plus it's been around long enough to have the bugs worked out. Glen A. Johnson
