Windows 2000 Pro
I have a number of PCs that won't let you right click on the taskbar, even when logged on as a Domain Administrator. I am guessing this must be down to a local group policy setting, these being uniform across the PCs. This is a pain as it means you can't change the Toolbars and add the Quick Launch Bar. The local group policy settings are:
Enabled:
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Explorer
Enable Classic Shell
Do not track Shell shortcuts during roaming
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Installer
Always install with elevated privileges
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Start Menu & Taskbar
Disable and remove links to Windows Update
Add Logoff to the Start Menu
Disable personalised menus
Do not use the tracking-based method when resolving shell shortcuts
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Desktop\Active Desktop
Active desktop wallpaper (DISABLE)
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System
Don’t display welcome screen at logon
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Logon\Logoff
Exclude directories in roaming profile
