Hi,

Would anybody know a good solution for this scenario:

We have a user in Bahamas who travels in the US frequently.
The user has 2 Blackberries, one for the US (US provider) and one for the Bahamas (Bahamian provider).

On the BES, the limit is one email account for one BB; therefore, I need to setup a secondary email account, that would be the exact copy of the primary email account, so both of the Blackberries can be activated. Yes, two licences for everything are needed, but this is not an issue.

The secondary email account should be a hidden account that receives and sends the same email, calendar, contacts, etc. as the primary account.

Is this possible?

Thanks for the answer.

Why not get a Blackberry that works in both places?

The other option is to have the US one on the BES and the Bahamas one on BIS.

Have the BES set up exactly normally but also create a contact in the GAL as john@bahamasphoneprovider.com and have emails go to there as well as the AD user. Then on the Bahamas BB, set up the outbound email address as his AD account. Then also on the Bahamas BB, sync it once to Outlook after you've copied the GAL to the Contacts folder - that'll sort of give him the GAL on the BB.

I explained this better elsewhere but that ought to make sense.

Thanks Zelandakh:

I know it doesn't give too much sense to have two BBs... The reason given to me is the user wants a local number here and a local number in the Bahamas.

Unfortunately, setting up a forward account is not the solution. Both BBs must have real-time access and be able to update contacts and the calendar.

Then set up one BB, get 2 BB enabled SIMs, one SIM storage box and ask the user to change the SIMs over on the plane...
