I have having problems with entering data into a data field. I have fields from 2 tables on one form, I can edit one set of tables but it locks the other set, I have tried to append but am unable to get both tables to edit and update at the same time. How do I make it possible to input data into all the fields from the same form....do I need to do it in a view or can it be done from the form itself? When you sow a thought, you reap an act. When you sow an act, you reap a habit. When you sow a habit, you reap a character. When you sow a character, you reap a destiny.

I'd think it would be pretty easy to do with a view. Just be sure to make sure that your view is set correctly for updates. For just editing existing records things are pretty simple, for adding new records it's generally more complex. Particularly if there are important fields in one of the tables which aren't used in your view.
