I have a person here that has 2 offices in 2 different buildings and he would like the phones in both offices to be tied to one extension. What is the easiest method of accomplishing this?
What type of sets are you using for this and what switch/ software version?? Send that and I will try to help. If you find any mistakes, please consider that they are there for a purpose. And everyone needs a purpose.
Hope this helps, Mikey.
Install both phones and give them each their own extension. Have this person pick the extension that he wants to use as his primary extension and add voicemail to this one. Then put his primary extension on the secondary phone as BRIDGED appearances. Make sure you match the number of call appearances. If he has 3 call appearances on his primary phone put 3 bridged appearances on the secondary phone. Also give him an AMW (automatic message waiting) button on the secondary phone to indicate voicemail messages on the primary phone.
