Hi.

I am setting up a Win XP Pro PC to replace a users old NT PC. They both have the same IP address.

The problem I am having is that I can log onto my NT 4.0 Server using the XP PC fine, but when I try on the NT PC I receive the following error message........

"The system cannot log you onto this domain because the systems computer account in its primary domain is missing or the password on that account is incorrect."

Even though I have logged off the XP PC, turned it off and disconnected the network cable, I am still receiving the message on the NT PC.

I need to acess the NT PC to copy some files for use on the XP PC and so access to the NT is a must.

Can anyone help? I'm a novice at this and so I'm sure theres a simple solution to this.

Regards
