Can the CP150 rel 7.0 be used for 2 separate night bell groups, each controlled by a control set?

My customer has 2 groups they want to treat separately in the Voicemail. In CP150, lines 1-2-3 have greeting 1 and 4-5-6 have greeting 2. In MICS, I have them set up in 2 different ringing groups 001 and 002, using (under "Services-Control Sets-Lines") lines 1-2-3 control set 221 for group 1; and for lines 4-5-6 control set 222 for group 2.

Ringing group 1 night bell was working fine, when set up "as usual",until I added control sets. When I added the groups of sets to the separate control sets (as advised) they work, but only after 4 rings, by forwarding each control set to 249. (I was advised to add all the sets in each group to "sets" under "Control sets" Ex.223-229>221 and DN's 230-239>222). The night button (F871)no longer works on one group, let alone on 2 separate night buttons.

There are some definite questionable areas, like- are control sets for the VM ports 249>221 and 249>222, or 221>221 and 222>222. And the prime sets?for 221 prime set 249 ("as usual") and 222 to prime set 249? or-221 to p.s.221 and 222 to p.s. 222?

I apologize for the lengthy post. Please feel free to e-mail me if too lengthy. Thanks

the default control set for all lines and sets is 221.

you will have to change the control set for lines 3 4 5 to the second control set.

assign the stations to ringing groups under services-> ringing service->Ringing groups->002->then assign individual sets. (the control set has to be in the group it controls)

assign the lines under services->Ringing Services->Sched Night->Line settings->then assign individual lines to the ring group. (the default is Group 1) (Here is where aux ringer can be assigned for lines also)

Now each control set should control its own ringing group.

Thanks for your help Jerry. I did get both groups working. The main problem was using lines 4,5, and 6 for the second group. I should have been using 4, 31, and 32. Both groups work fine.

Thanks again!
