Hi,

I installed 2 networks on Windows 2000 machine. After booting, the network always see the IP of the second NIC. What happened?

NIC #1:
137.200.200.50

NIC #2:
192.168.0.1

After booting the network always see NIC #2: 192.168.0.1.
What should I do to let the network see 137.200.200.50?

Thanks

I take it the 192 is internal while the 137 is external?

For starters make sure that there is only one default gateway listed, and it's on Nic1.

Clarification:

The 192.168.0.1 is connected via a cross over cable to an NT box.
The 137.200.200.50 is connected to an internal LAN

Yes,
There is only one default gateway on NIC1.

NIC2 has only the IP and subnet mask configured as
192.168.0.1
255.255.255.0

Everything else left blank.

Ok then change the binding order in the advanced settings of the network connections area. Make sure nic1 is higher than nic2.

I right clicked on Local Area Connection, choose Properties.
Then, chose Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
Clicked on Properties
Then advanced
I don't see any binding...
