I have had external access to our owa for a while but for various reasons i had to put another network card in with another ip address ie the first one which worked was in the 10 range and the second in the 172 range. Our ISP is now mapping the firewall to the 172 range and while I can connect internally I cannot from the outside Any ideas?

The ISP needs to confirm they are configuring the firewall correctly. This is probably a default gateway problem. Disable the other NIC, have the 10 range card default to the firewall, get the ISP to reconfig the inside of the firewall to the 10 range for the Exchange server.

Yep that worked fine but I have 400 kids trying to use p2p so had to have the router/gateway on a b class segment. I have had to change the config to stop the ie I have an a class and b class running on the network. Can look at the router and all mapping appears fine. Can connect internally using the 10 range or 172 range but cannot connect from outside. Any ideas ? Dave
