hello every body,

we are using the (dead pair)leasedline of 64/128 kbps using ascom modems and cisco 1750 series routers on either end.i want to upgrade the line to 2mbps, using the same line without costing for another pair, please help in this concern, modems to be used on either side

i mean to say is it possible 2Mbps on single pair, what modems to be used

with regards
satya prasad

What is the distance?

You could look at some long range ethernet, which is like DSL, or look at real DSL gear to run over that..

There should be reason why you couldn't run 2 Mb on a single pair as long as you have the correct WIC card for it.

It is what it is!!
