I am trying to author a DVD using 2 gig files captured by adobe premiere. Is there any way to combine them into DVDit so I can put the chapters where I need them? the 2 gig files usually begin and end in the middle of a scene.

DVDiT has a 2G file limit?

Is this imposed by DVDit or your operating system?

DOS 5.0 can't handle 2G files and I'd be really leery about trying to run Premiere on a Timex Sinclair, frankly.

Cheers,

I'm assuming it's the 6.0 version of Premiere that is imposing the limits. When it captures the files, it builds a directory and captures at 2 gig increments. I'm trying to pull the avi's captured in Premiere into DVDit and have it play seemlessly. I know the newer version of Premiere does not do this so it may just be time to bite the bullett and upgrade. tks!

Hm. You aren't using that Popeil Video Collect-o-Matic, are you?

What is your OS and your capture card type? ANy other specs on your setup?

Cheers,
