2 clients crash during backup

Hi,

First of all, sorry for my bad english.

NBU Version : 5.1 MP3
Master/Media : Windows 2003
Clients : Windows 2003, NT4 SP6a (150 clients)
VSP : not activated
Logging : max(level 5) for client/master/media

Two clients crash during backup.
- The first one is a W2K3 server, we noticed that backup failed while a large file (62Go) was backing up. It's a flat file (not open during backup). I read that netbackup can backup file larger than 64To, so I'M confused. Does anybody met this kind of problem ?
- The second one is a NT4 server. We have noticed that backup always failed after backing up 3636000 Kbytes. We have noticed that netbackup can't access a large number of files (Example :'\\?\D:\Home\M122348\acaillat.id' (WIN32 5: Access is denied. ).

We analyzed all logs but nothing helped us.

Any Idea ?

First off, make sure your server isnt crashing due to the logging level set to 5. This will fill you up drive very, very fast.

Second, have you opened a call with Veritas support as this to me would be a very critical issue?

the logging level is 0.
we opened a call to veritas support.
but still the problem persist.

Maybe these two systems don't have the resources to do the backups. What applications do these servers run? Basically your filling up a filesystem as comtec said or the two systems can handle the backup load.

these are only files servers. not application servers.

i just excluded the larger bak file(62Go)on the W2K server. and on the NT server i found a nsf file(500Mo)the server went down when the netbackup tried to backup this file so i excluded the nsf file. things are ok now.
