2 asst. picking up exec phone at same time

Just added Executives phone to ring on 2 Assistants phones. Now they can all pick up a single call. How do I make it so after the first call picks up, the other two cannot. By the way, the Executive has a polycom with his DID too. Can't find anything like auto privacy in CLS.

If there is an analog TN with the same DN, privacy is not possible.

Contrary to popular (mis)perception, you can have privacy with a combination of digital/IP and analog phones. Configure the analog phone first with a CLS=MCRA, then configure the digital/IP phone with a normal MCR key.

Well, ya, I guess. But you can't put the call on hold and say "call for you on line 1" Nor could you tell if the line was in use between sets.

This is an Exec/Secy scenario and I don't think many would want to lose that "I see he's on the line" or being able to walk in and say "It's your wife on line 1 - should I say you're not in?" -answer "No, I'll just take it now"

Even with BFS, it's not the same.

with mcr keys the person that answers gas to transfer the call.. you can transfer to same dn. if you need station status.. add bfs keys to digital sets
