I am trying to track down where a 1800 number goes. I have the DNIS digits for the 800 # but cannot remember where to go in the system to track it down. The Legal dept is needing to know and I would rather stay on their good side.
Thanks for any help!!

Display your incoming trunk group and look for the page INCOMING CALL HANDLING TREATMENT. This should let you know how you are handling the incoming 800 #.

If you have vectoring, check your VDN tables - disp vdn NNNN where NNNN = DNIS digits. This will tell you which vector is processing the call, and whom it may be going to. You can display the vector using the same command syntax, just substitute vec for vdn. Another always good way to check is to...dial the number and see who answers.

Hope this helps.

I have checked all of the above and had no luck with determining the routing for that number. I checked the hunt group that matches the DNIS digits and there are no stations in the group. It is going to 2 stations now and I need to add more stations to the path that it takes.

Just to add something to dialtone's reply.
Call the number and see who answers. Or maybe you know...
Then do : list usage extension <extension>

You will get a list of every 'item' that has a link to the extension. If you route the calls to a hunt you will see the hunt appear in this list.

OK, I finally found it. The guy who set this switch up had set up a hunt group with an extension matching the DNIS digits. He then set up a coverage path for the hunt group. So, I was able to change the phones that it rings to by changing the coverage path.
Thanks, EPalle. I would have never been able to track it down without the "list usage ext " command.
