Hello
-overall problem is voice quality-
Here's a rundown on what I've done to fix this ongoing "buzzing" or "ringing" that has plauged this router for almost a year.. I've added memory, upgraded the IOS, changed my QoS policy to be LLQ from DSCP, got two brand new VIC's from cisco, and about every troubleshooting posiblity you can imagine..
The cards in this router are DID vic's, and they are the only cards in this router! The sounds is constant when call comes through it. it's like a constant "bbiizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" in the background. Now both parties can still hear each other and have a conversation, but it's just frickin annoying!
The really strange part is, it's only one of the voice cards that are making the noise. AND, to make it more interesting, there's consistantly more noise on one port on the card than the other port on that same damn card!!! I don't know what else I can do to eliminate the noise..
My routers a Cisco 1750 using IOS 12.2(15)ZJ2 I've been through 3 Cisco TAC people and I'm just not getting anywhere..
Anyone got any clues??
