I have in the last week upgraded an IP Office 500 V1 from V4.2 to V9. The upgrade seemed to go alright but when using the telephones I noticed that Redial, Call Log and Directory Keys did not function.

The handsets are the old 1608 IP (Green Display) Handsets with firmware 1.030 which is very old. I thought that when the switched upgraded the handset would take the latest firmware files. I have tried various steps to get the telephones to take the latest files but no luck.

Any suggestions welcomed

Depends whether the phones have a file server address set, normally http with the 16xx series.

The telephone system is set as manager for files with the TFTP set as the manager pc address and HTTP is set as the LAN address of the IPO. The telephones receive all DHCP from the system.

OK but its a V1 IPO, which means it doesnt have an SD card to contain the files.

You might need to see whats is your HTTP server

I am using the computer with manager on it for these requests. I thought that it used HTTP from the IPO LAN card then relayed via TFTP to a the manager PC to process these requests. I have tried using the TFTP in manager and a separate TFTP server to carry this out but no luck. I appreciate your assistance.
