1608 DS buttons

Just a minor irritation.

We have recently installed an IP500v2 on 6.0.14.
All users have 1608 handsets (130)
Two users require direct pickup keys in order to be able to pickup calls for their managers. However even though the pickup function works, the actual ds key doesn’t flash making it difficult for the user to select the correct DP key.

Has anyone else seen this issue and is there a work around or alternative way of achieving it.

Make the button feature "User" not pick up

or to complicate things, make a couple of groups, add the user, point the ICR to it, and make the button function "Group" and since the only one member in it - it will always flash - and you can pick up the call.

I have a 1608 here and works a treat

Just call the buttons MngrPkup - etc

make sense?

Both ways work, one will pick up straight away, and Andy's will allow you to confirm the pick up.
