12d backups and Exchange Agent

As soon as my backup starts with version 12d, Email stops flowing on the mail server, and does not restart until i reboot the server, anyone seen this happen before and know what I can do to fix it short of not backing up my mail server.

Hi,

Is anything happening as a pre-job command to stop any of the exchange services, or the SMTP service.

Make sure these are still running during the backup.

If aint broken, dont try n fix it!!!!!

Anything in event log?

What are you backing up? Store, brick or both?
