A friend has a Compaq Armada 4131T laptop. As soon as it's switched on it says "102 - System Board Failure". There's no boot screens displayed, no 'press del for bios'. Is there a way to fix this problem without investing in new hardware?
Bad news Smah. I read through those links and it seems like the laptop needs a System Board replacement. Thanks for the info. I don't think its worth changing the system board(?)she's probably better off buying a new machine when possible..
