100% CPU -Task.ini

Hope this can help some of you.

On some clients, Framework service and mc_script was taking 100% CPU.

I finally found a solution, delete all the ini files in

W2K XP
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Network Associates\Common Framework\Task

NT4
c:\Program Files\Network Associates\Common Framework\Data\Task

I had even some task with this kind of name
{A14CD6FC-3BA8-4703-87BF-E3247CE382F5}.ini

It seems to be an issue coming from the upgrade from ePO2.5 to ePO3

That's the default auto update task, if i'm not mistaken it will be on all of your machines. You might also check for files in the common framework folder named UPDATE_*.ini these also need to be deleted, don't forget to stop the framework service first....
