1 report to selectively trigger others

Using CE9 Prof. & CR9 Dev.
I have a receipt running overnight. We want to have information reports print collated with the receipt, based on the items purchased. These information reports are separate CR reports. I've never tried this type of thing before. Is it easy/hard, possible/impossible??

What does a receipt running overnight mean?

Do you mean that some process is occurring and once it completes you'd like to initiate a batch of reports?

If so, read up on Events in CE, and here's a nice chunk-o-code from Apos which allows users to schedule reports based on Events:

Sorry, I wasn't clear. All receipts for transactions that occurred during that day print via a scheduled report at 2:00 AM. They are sitting on our printer when we come to work.. Now they want to pick up the pile of receipts and have it in this order:


Cust1Receipt, RecptInfoSheet1, RecptInfosheet2, RecptInfosheet3
Cust2Receipt, RecptInfoSheet1, RecptInfosheet2
Cust3Receipt

etc etc
