I have an IP500 system with 5610SW phones.

I have a Watchguard Firebox with 4 ports. One set for external and the 3 internal are set for different subnets. (10.1.xxx.xxx, 10.2.xxx.xxx, 10.3.xxx.xxx)

The IP500 is statically set to 10.1.42.1/255.0.0.0 on the primary subnet. The voicemail server is at 10.1.42.2 and the POE switches start at 10.1.42.3.

On the secondary subnet, I can ping the voicemail server and POE switches, but I can't ping the IP500.

Is this a routing issue or is the IP500 not allowing itself to be seen by another subnet?

it should be 255.255.0.0

I'll change it back later tonight, when all the customer service reps have gone home, and let you know how it goes.

If you can do any tracing (port mirroring or the like), then do that on the IPO. I use a little hub and ethereal/wireshark.

You might be able to see what is going on from that

the blanket route 0.0.0.0 on the IP Office will be enough to route all traffic on all networks to make it aware of all devices.

i think its the routing in your firewall thats gone a little pearshaped.

without looking at the config from the WG system manager its a little hard to tell whats going wrong.....

Right now, in the WG system manager, for testing purposes, I have a dynamic route setup to allow all traffic from the secondary network to the primary network. That should be enough, correct?

Hmmmm... again without looking at your config its hard to say whats going on.... can you export it out and post it?

There's not a good way for me to display my config. At least that I can find.
