I am working on a project where i have been using a couple of different methods to give users the ability to 0 out of VM..

My question is, what is the best practice for this..they need the ability to be able to get out of VM at any time and talk to a live person..

On the first page of the subscribers form, is a place thats marked "covering extension". Place a number there that you want to over your calls. On the personal greeting record it as, "Hi this is Mike. I am not available right now blah blah blah, leave me a message at the tone or press "0" now to speak with someone.

Should work nicely for you.
