I'm not that familiar with Witness but I have a problem somebody out there has hopefully seen before. Users are complaining that for some agents the only audio that gets recorded is a busy signal. The way I understand it, Witness has a certain number of sets built in the PBX that act as...
You could program a DISPLAY key on the phone. Once an agent has entered in a code they could press DISPLAY then ActCode and the phone will display what code they have entered. Not the best way to do it, but it works.
You don't need to install the thick client to get the ODBC driver for Sybase. Here are some instructions I have written and used several times to get folks access to the DB.
Setting up an ODBC Connection to Symposium database (SYBASE)
On the machine you want to setup this ODBC connection...
Can you get RTD to work on any of the machines that are having trouble with ADD? We had a similar problem here with XP machines. It boiled down to IGMP versions not matching between the XP default and what our multicast broadcast was using. Here is the registry hack if you want to try it...
We have a Option 81, CallPilot 4.0 and Symposium 5.0. I have a script that routes calls to a voice mail box after hours or if the skillset is out of service. My problem is how can I notify the supervisors if there is a message in that box? They already have voice mail so I can't use the red...
We are on a Notel PBX(81c) and running Symposium 5.0. The agents are using Not-Ready reason codes to track their time not on a call. The codes are working, but the problem is that when they press the ActCode button on their phones, enter the code, and press the button again, the agent has no...
Not arguing, just stating a point. Anyhow, thanks for the reply sandyml. It turned out there really wasn't a problem after all. They found a NOT READY REASON CODE canned report and that gave them what they needed. They were just looking for not ready codes in the activity code reports. It...
You might call them "dumb", but it is a third party application that considers not-ready time to also be an "activity" and thus feels that the Nortel way of separating the two to be "dumb". So there!

I can see the various not ready codes that users key into their phones while viewing real-time reports, but for some reason the only code that seem to show up on any historical report is the 000 - System default not-ready code.
Any ideas?
Using Symposium 5.0
Every so often when we try to get to the web client IE shows a "Service Unavailable" error. A quick check of services on the web server shows nothing out of the ordinary. A reboot of the web server will fix the problem (for a while).
Just curious if anyone else has run into this and if so...
bryanata: Thanks for the reply but I got it working. I changed the password for the IUSR_SWC account, re-linked it in IIS and rebooted the machine. Its all good now!
Thanks
When I try to Activate a scheduled report while in the report, Symposium gives me an error saying it is already scheduled. If I go to "Scheduled Events" I see my report listed, but it's status is Inactive. If I try to Activate it from there, I get a "Could Not Activate report....." error at the...
