Guys,
I am using WI for Metaframe Presentation server - users are complaining that the last logged on name is not displayed in the WI login page.
Is this a limitation in the MPS WI? It used to work in WI 1.7.
Thanks

Environment: Windows Server 2003 Active Directory, Windows 2000 Server file server, Windows 2000 Pro workstations.
By using GPO:s, I have configured the Offline Files feature. Amongst other settings I have administratively assignes the whole of user's home folders to be cached offline.

All,
My client is running two Win 2003 DC's with the WINS service on top. WINS is neccessary because of old apps.
From what I have found out, in order to administer WINS records you need to be local administrator, and because this is on the DC's you all know that local admin = god.
My client...
Hi,
I'm in the design phase of a small network supporting 70 users (and computers). If possible, I think SBS 2003 might be a good option but as far as I know, SBS 2000 and 4.5 had a limitation of 50 users. Does the same limitation apply to SBS 2003?
Thanks
Another thought...
Setting the refresh interval to say 1 or 5 mins on all the clients will generate quite a lot of "unneccessary" activity on the network and webserver in a large organization.
If I would use meta-tags like you are mentioning, would it update the client only when...
bcastner, thanks that works fine!
However, if possible, it would be nice to be able to "push" this out from the www server.
This text is from a web site I found, unfortunately it doesn't tell anything about how and what command to implement in the web page. - Any clues ...
Hi guys,
We want to put our intranet's start-page on everyone's Active Desktop. Works fine BUT, the information displayed on the Active Desktop is only updated when I refresh it manually or logout/in.
Is this something I can force from the web-server or the desktop pc? I want all the user's...
I did not run the lcok-down utility..... and I have had two different NFuse/Citrix farm installations now with the same sympthom so I don't think there is anything wrong with the actual NFuse. Hmm can I upgrader NFuse 1.7 to Web Interface for free? Do you think it's worth trying??
Thanks
Good stuff! So you actually did it on the number of apps as opposed to apps not published to any folder as I did?! Can you somehow control which apps you want to be visible or is it just picking the first one(s) you are publishing or...?

Which version of NFuse are you running? I have 1.7, maybe applist.vbs exists instead of applistimpl.vbs in your version cause I don't have an applist.vbs only applistimpl.vbs.
Look for for numfolders below and in your code in applistimpl.vbs...
Had the same problem and solved it like this:
In the file \wwwroot\Citrix\NFuse17\include\applistImpl.vbs
change ”For i = 1 to numFolders” to ”For i = 1 to 0” - this makes NFuse only show applications that are NOT published into a folder.
In the Citrix Management Console, make sure to publish...
Hmm my NfuseIcons folder doesn't seems to clear up, but never mind.... have assigned the permissions you suggested but it doesn't help. I still ge randomly crossed out icons.
I even put FR3 on the servers but no differense. Hmmm what else can be wrong except for the permissions??
Thanks for...
Thanks for the reply - the IWAM account didn't have modify (only read) before on the NfuseIcons folder. I'll test this during the day and get back. Is the NfuseIcons folder a cache folder only that should be empty when noone is logged in? Mine is full with loads of different versions of the same...
We have a Citrix XP 1.0 FR2/SP2 farm where users connect to a desktop, then we use Citrix PnAgent v7.00 to allow user to connect to other apps published on different server.
We've configured PnAgent to build its structure in the start-menu, however; sometimes the application icons are replaced...
