You need a cross-over cable to connet two computers not the standard ethernet one. Usually comes in red but it can vary. Loretta

Thanks Guys, After using Sherlock.exe, I found that nearly all my video codecs were corrupt. Don't know how this happened but re-installation of some of them did help. Thanks again, Loretta

Thanks for the tips. I already had Xvid but re-installed it, but to no avail. Ran afreeCodecVT to find the correct codec and it came up with FAST Multimedia AG DVM (Dolby AC3). Searched the net , but cannot find it. Any more ideas!! Loretta
