We have a SQL 2000 running on a Win2003 server. 8 other workstations connect fine, But 1 2000 workstation cant connect. First we could not see the instance or the server(SQL) but could browse the server through the network.

Your "computer timeline" Just add a IBM XT with RLL Controller after the Color Computers and it sounds like we took the same path. The 10 meg hard drive I had in it was used and I had to give it a little spin with a pencil eraser when I turned it on. LOL
I don't think theres any real good solution but having each contry manage there own would turn into a nightmare.

You would need the regular license Not the internet connector.
For web access you'll need IIS running and TSWeb. Search MS's site for the TSWeb app for W2K

Thanks Mikeydidit, I needed a good laugh.
Don't quote me on this but from what i remember from some classes I took a standard 2003 will work and when setting up the cluster in notes you must tell it what nsf's you want to cluster.
I "think" the notes client needs to be open for it to run when new mail arrives. Have you tried running the agent on a schedule? maybe once an hour. that can be run on the server
The couple of people we set this up for we didn't need to setup any agents. The server would get the incomming mail and just foward it to there external email address.
On the person Doc there is a Fowarding address field that will foward the emails. The only bad thing is that it doesn't keep a copy in the persons nsf.
