You may need to resave the pictures as eps or tif with a windows preview. Also, check to make sure you are not printing low res in quarks print dialog box.

My preivious employer had Markztools3 and it was good at fixing some corruptions as well. havent used the latest version though.

It would probably be best to discuss the project with your printer before hand, so you can get any specifics from them as to what will work/cause problems.
If you are doing a kiss cut, then you will need to create a die that matches your layout. Again, it would be good to talk to your printer...

Arent the Indigos limited in what paper stock can be run?
We use the Indigo when we only need 300 pieces or so. I think the price break is at 1000, then you should look at offset litho.

I admit when i worked in publishing we did it manually. Didnt know about tags, and employer wasnt willing to spend any money getting any of us fully trained on the software. That 3000+ name directory would have been SO MUCH EASIER had i used tags, and would have saved the publisher tons of money...
Maybe its a conflict of some sort... font or system extension.
Try restarting quark without any font manager loading and minimal system fonts, to see if that works. If not, try restarting your machine without any system extensions and see if you can import that way.

You might try printing with the 'shrink to fit page' option checked if it is a printer necessity.
