How do I set Default User Account?

Thanks bcastner! That was an easy fix. Unfortunately, without realizing it, I had installed numerous programs while logged in as Administrator. Naturally, when I switch to another profile as default, things like the startup menu, the desktop, etc. are different. I'll search for a fix on this...

How do I set Default User Account?

Hello, I've been searching for an answer but can't seem to find it. Office 2003 and SQLservr.exe Question...

OK, I just found out that the reason there is such a tight relationship between the SQLServr and Outlook is because I installed the Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2003. I guess I should have figured that out because of the "BCM" in MSSQL$MicrosoftBCM. I do want to use the BCM...

    Office 2003 and SQLservr.exe Question...

Hello, I installed MS Office 2003 Pro and after checking Task Manager, I notice that Sqlservr.exe is running as a new service. Can someone tell me what this service is for? The reason I ask is twofold. First, it takes up a large amount of memory. After starting my system, Sqlservr is using...

Need help w/ strange XP performance problem

Thanks for the suggestion! I tried it but it didn't work. After reading a couple of post's here related to file associations, I ended up un-installing Photoshop 7 and re-installing without changing file associations (.jpg's were associated with PS). Now everything is working much better.

Need help w/ strange XP performance problem

Hello, I installed two new hard drives (Maxtor 80GB 7200's) on the Primary IDE Channel and after completing a fresh install of XP Pro and all updates/patches, I'm having a problem when I open folders that have .jpg images in them. It takes a lot longer for the files to be listed. I have one...

I've created several different hardware profiles and used Device Manager to disable certain hardware for each profile. However, some hardware is not listed in Device Manager. Example: I have a...
