NW 4.11 base install on new hardware
Fyi...for any interested, this is what worked for me. Provided updated NWPA.nlm file (version 2.37 versus 2.31 base)from 4.11 SP9 install to NWUPDATE directory prior to executing install routine. This allowed me to load my 5300 drivers without the "public symbol" errors...- mag308

Tried that...The default drivers with 4.11, CPQS710 or CPQDA386, won't work on a Compaq Smart Array 5300. Unrecognized controller. I don't have a controller that the base 4.11 drivers will recognize. The driver I do have for the 5300 is supposedly good back to NW 4.2. Which I guess is why I...- mag308
